Common Core is more than a set of standards or new technology for taking online tests. It's an opportunity to engage students in powerful and meaningful learning through the use of digital tools. In this session we we'll examine the digital literacy demands of Common Core and discuss strategies for using these standards to incorporate blogging, digital composition, multimedia creation, and programming. Join us as we examine the "why" behind many of the digital tools entering our classrooms and walk way with a plan for using Common Core to engage our digital students in relevant learning.
